John McCain and his view on Alternative Energy
Posted on October 23rd, 2008 at 3:47 pm by angelapearson and tagged cleaner air, foreign oil, John McCain
John Mccain has made necessary choices, producint more power, pushing technology to help free our transportation sector from its use of foreign oil, and he wants the world to have cleaner air, and to have addressing climate change, and ensuring that Americans have advanced transportation technologies and alternative fuels to promote energy endependence and cut off the flow of oil wealth to repressive dictatorship like Iran.
I think that some of this is a good idea, but how is he really going to get the air cleaner unless we all ride pedal bikes? They fuels will have to change with less fumes but without the strong ingredients we wont be able to really get anywhere that we need to get to. They really just say they want to do these things, but they will never do them. So i don’t expect anything out of them.
John McCain on Health Care
Posted on October 17th, 2008 at 10:21 am by angelapearson and tagged affordable, health care, insurance, John McCain
John McCain and his view on health care is that he wants to lower the health care cost. He wants to make it affordable so that everyone can have health insurance. He feels that everyone should have the opportunity to have health care, and that is affordable.
I think that this is absolutely the thing to do. Everyone needs to have health care, and needs to be affordable. If they can not pay for it then they get on some thing like medicare, or medicade, which is what the paid for by the government so that is money going away that could be used for something else. So if they make the health care more affordable then the government can have more money somewhere else.
John McCain and Education
Posted on October 9th, 2008 at 9:06 am by angelapearson and tagged John McCain, No child should be left behind, school
John McCain believes the No Child Left Behind act. He thinks that all children should be able to go to the school they want to go to and what is the best and easiest for them and thier parents. He believes that the schools should be competiting to get the students to come into our schools. He does not want low standards from some and high standars from the rest he wants it all equal. If the schools will not change, the students should change the schools.
I agree with most of this stuff. But if the students don’t care to change then the teachers are not going to care either, and if the kids these days don’t care about school and are going to grow up to be a teacher what are they going to teach like, and what are the kids in 4 years going to be like. The kids are not going to change the schools, it has to be the teachers who want to change it and they dont even want to anymore. The standards should be set higher so the kids do want to come to school. They should not have to wake up every morning and dread to come to school, but anymore its like that due to all the people that don’t care. All the crime, and fights, and bullying that goes on in the huge schools. Things teachers don’ts see, kids are not going to change, so if he thinks that, then let him think that.
John McCain and Foreign Policy

John McCain and his view on foreign policy are hard to explain. He understands what it is like to go over and fight because he was a prisoner of war for seven years. But John McCain really does not have any back up plan. He will sit down with a leader but only with pre-conditions. John McCain says he is ready for any dangerous threats in the world. He says we have good reason to expect solidarity of our allies.
My opinion on all of this is i have no clue. I used to like John McCain, but now i am not so for sure. If either one of them become president our Nation will become screwed. John McCain may have been a prision of war for seven years and he may know all about that but then why is he not taking the reactions that he should? We should not wanting to be sending more people over to Iraq we should take them out. Either way we for the next four years we are going to be screwed.
