Democratic National Convention
Posted on August 28th, 2008 at 8:57 am by angelapearson and

The2008 Denver National Convention is a quadrennial presidential nominating convention of the Democratic Party.  It adopts its national platforms and officially nominates its candidates for President and Vice President.  August 25 to August 28, 2008 is when the convention is being held and is held in Denver, Colorado at the Pepsi Center.  The nominee for President is U.S. Senator Barack Obama.   He will make his acceptance speech on August 28 at the Invesco Field in what they party calls an “Open Convention.”  The last hosted Denver Democratic National Convention what held in 1908.

My opinion on the Democratic National Convention is that they should get the right to have their convention just like the Republicans do.  I am not all up to date with this whole Presidential stuff.  So therefore I really don’t pay too much attention to all the stuff, and when I do it does not really make since to me.  But the democrats should have an equal opportunity just like everyone does.
